A familiar face in the congress and festival dance scene, DJ Harvey (aka Har da Marv) from DreamSound’s DJs has over 18 years of experience as DJ. In the past few years, he has been collaborating with many well-established organizers and event to bring quality Kizomba, Bachata, and Salsa music mixing to the dance community.
As a DJ he has performed in many established congresses and festival in major cities such as Atlanta, Miami, Orlando Tampa, Seattle and Santo Domingo (DR). As a social dancer and performer with Casa Salsa, he has had some great exposure dancing and performing in various dance festivals and congresses events. His deep appreciation for quality danceable music that moves the crowd gives him a unique perspective on the Afro-Caribbean and Latin dance events while mixing the best selections.
In addition to English, he is fluent in French, Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, which gives him an advantage in music selection across the globe. His goal in the las few years has been to expand the beautiful music and dance of Kizomba and Kompa in Florida and the rest of the United States by working with promoters, instructors and dance studio owners to promote and host monthly and weekly events.
He is honored and excited to be invited to the annual NYE Kizomba Kultura Festival in sunny Phoenix Arizona.
